If your device isn’t listed below, search Google for “Background service app stopping (add your device name).”

If you're struggling to locate battery optimization settings, search for "Battery Optimization" in your Android settings.

General Device Instructions

1.Go to device settings.

2.Select Apps & notifications.

3.Choose Special app access.

4.Find Battery optimization.

5.Tap the arrow down at the top and select "All apps."

6.Locate Mi Display.

7.Set it to “Don’t optimize.”

This app was designed for AMOLED and OLED screens. It works on all display types, including LCD or IPS, but may drain more battery on those devices. This is due to AMOLED and OLED turning off black pixels while LCD and IPS do not.
